Installing flash drive on xl >> problem

Hi ,

I ordered the drive from mpcstuff,

upgraded the os, 1.2

removed the floopy put in the compact flash drive, ide cable to apti/ide slot ( one closest to the flash ddrive on the board, attached power cable to board and drive, flip it over insert flash card, power on,
and the screen never loads , it's on and blank,

and all the buttons are lit up and it's frozen there.

anyone have this issue??

I check all the connections, they seem good.

damn, so close yet so far...

I would double check all your cables again.

I would contact the tech support folks at MPCStuff - I'm sure they can get you up and running in no time flat.

I love the way as soon as I post something, I figure it out.

that was it, problem was 18 inches from the screen, lol

the power cable did not snap to the flash drive.
