asigning sounds :/ pliz heeeelp

ive read that mpc 2000xl can save 64 samples on one bank
so heres whats problem
I have one sequence cutted into pieces on drum 1 bank 1
than other sequence on the same drum one bank 2
When im starting to put drum soundz on drum one bank3 its starting to put samples into bank one;/ its making me crazy how does it work is it about memory ?;/ or about other limitation pliiiiiiiiz help

it's most likely an error on your part, and not the machine

3 things you should keep in mind:

1) make sure you're in the right drum program before you start assigning
2) zoning automatically assigns samples in bank a
3) check what drum you are on when recording, b/c if you hit shift + program it'll try and take you to that one by default

thanks a lot man this is reallyu helpfull the thing is i dont know why i didnt recognize it before i had same samples name and maybe becouse of this ...there are many strange things happening in this machine but i love it anyway once again BIG THANKS
