Intelligent way of saving??

I just got the 2kxl and I have some concerns when it comes to saving a beat.

My zip disk contains different folders refering to the beats I did. I don't know if I should save my drum program in each folder or save it once and remember which I used for which beat and load it through the drum sub-folder?

My question is basically: how do you save? is there an efficient way of saving I haven't though about?

i guess when using 100mb disks, you still have to be space conscious. I just tend to create a new folder for each working project. The folder contains the APS & ALL file, as well as every sample needed for that project, Spanning your work accross folders will only create nightmares down the road.

its not really an issue with a card reader, as you have huge amounts of space, so having duplicate samples accross different folders isnt a big deal..

new folder for each project and all files for that project in that folder. no matter how many tracks i use with that pgm i still save it again. zip or not. it pays to be organized.
