is there a compressor on the EB 16 effect card for the mpc? anybody go it? how can I get fat compressor drums

No, there is not. You could get an outboard compressor (look at DBX for what you want) or compress in your daw - there are a lot of freeware VST's for example that are quite good (Kaerhus comes to mind).

eb 16 is detailed in the 2kxl manual, have a read.
