i need help on setting up

Well my pc(with pro tools, FL studio 8 XXL edition, cubase etc on it) died last week (RIP) and im collecting my MPC 2000 in the week, all i have so far is a M Audio 49E keystation (midi controller + keyboard), my shit laptop with FL on it, a regular PC 2.1 sound system (would that work in the MPC if i had a headphone jack to the bigger jack?) and 2 zip readers (1 for the MPC and 1 for my laptop)

can someone advise me

(also i have a real short budget seeming im going to Ibiza in like 3 weeks )

i would get to know the mpc before you rush out and get anything. Get a cheap usb midi interface so you can sequence some free vst software using your mpc.

yeah i was thinking about that, but USB dosent retrieve a great sound responce eg: delays if im correct (unless my old pc was THAT shit) lol
