MPC Virgin!!!! Need some assistance

I produce tracks in H-town, my tracks are tight but a friend of mine with another label tossed me an extra MPC 2000 to make my tracks Hot!!! He gave me a MPC 2000, no disks, and no manuals and I am not familuar with it at all... When I turn it on, it asks me for a boot disk and of course I have none, do I need to download a operating system or do I need a special bootdisk or something to that effect... If so could you shoot me a link where I could find it???

If you cant do this, maybe I can copy my disk and fedex it to you. I aint gon charge u. Cause its pretty easy to find, but If you desperately need it I can send you a copy of mine. good luck homie

yeah, i would verify if the OS from the 2000XL will boot the 2000 like earlier stated.

you don't want to turn that MPC into a paper weight.
