2000XL and the G-DEC

Sup,

I searched both this forum and Futureproducers.com and haven't found anything about this amp in works with an MPC.

I'm getting a 2KXL in a few days. I have the Fender G-Dec guitar/bass amp and I haven't used that for like 2 years now. I took a look at it the other day and saw that it has a MIDI in and out ( ). So I'm wondering if I could MIDI up this amp to the 2KXL and record a seperate track of guitar/bass?

It'd be sick if I could do this and record my own bass lines for beats.

Why shouldn't you be able to it's midi the mpc has midi so yeah.

From what I read, it seems like the bass amp has a built-in synth with midi capacity, so you could treat it like any other sound module and record one (or more if it is mutitimbral) tracks on the MPC. Cool!

And I remember the days when we were impressed by tuck-and-roll covering on our old Kustom bass amps.
