to sample INTO the MPC, get the best that your money can buy.... I just bought a Vestax 05 Pro for 3 bills, brand new... and when I got home and toyed with it, the clarity and the quietness you get from it are extremely good... I've used other dj mixers before, you know, the lil cheap ones, and whenever I sampled from them, the sound wasn't very clear....but with this new Vestax....a WORLD of difference...you get only the sound that is on the record, not any extra hiss or noise.....

thats what i got. ima trying to step it up to 07 tho (3 eq per channel). the drawback is im used to scrathcing on old gemini mixers which got a way different fader action. them vestaxes are made for scratching stars not primo type scratching which is what im good at.

damn..... I learnt how to skratch training with weights on!!! I had this old 70/80's Battle mixer with VU meters and sht(its in one of the old bit of footage in 'scratch')..... It had a tight curve but a really really heavy fader, so when I bought my vestax pmc 06 I almost put blew all over it... pure heaven....
Now with about 3 or 4 months using a proper fader under my belt im loooooooooooooooooooooooooving it... YEAH!
