mpc and mo phat keys (mk-6)

is anybody using this setup? i want to sequence the mo phat keys with my mpcxl but i can't get that ish to work right. can someone tell me how to put that keyboard in multi mode??

you gotta change the midi mode to "omni" and thats it......I think its under the global menu, or the controller menu? But if you look up "omni" in the manual, it should tell you where it is. I also turn off the global effects...but you dont have to. then just work everything in multi mode to assign the sounds to tracks.


If you need more explaning let me know...i dont have the board directly infront of me.

if you want to use the mk in multi mode then it has to be in multi mode otherwise it will jus play whatever sound is on the screen

make sure you go to the midi menu and enable each midi channel that you want to use

if you are jus using the mpc and the mk then enable all 16 channels on the mk so you wont have to do it later
