Yo akai sucks so much ***k imma smash my dps with a hammer

Man i just got my jaz drive for my dps 12 to load the new os. well like an idiot i did it wrong and deleted the whole fuc*** os on it. Now i gotta ship it to akai to get it fixed. I been havin problems with this thing since day one. the cd drive i bought was sussposeed to be compatible, but outta like 30 i bout the one that mad cats have probs with on the dps forums. the richoh mp6200. If any of u are techices and can reload the os hit me up. I dont want to pay to ship this shit to CA but i need it asap. im allready losin out on money cause of this bullshit.

You can connect the Jaz to a PC and write the OS to it yourself.

Just follow the instructions.

i did this. i got the os loader from the akai website. then i got the jaz drive to the pc via scsi then i used the loader but it told me there was another drive a cd one so i took the .cod file and booted up the akai holdin rec + play then it told me to select which drive. i picked the jaz then it did something wierd then i hit an fkey and it started just going thru files. then it told me to reset it. I nothing boots up now all the lights go on it has a huge error code on it but really dim on the screen. i then figured out how to write it to the jaz and tried booting it. no luck. same thing, i think i erased the os outta flashrom. it wont even get to the load feature. i called akai tech and they send i have to send it in. they asked me if i was a tech so one could do it up. i really dont want to and i need this thing right now.
