programs are you pc/mac heads running?

im about to cop a computer and was thinking reason, and recycle look really dope, first and foremost.
i definitely need a multitrack..pro tools, etc..

what are some other ones(programs and multitracks)...and descriptions of the different programs ya'll are running and what they do would be very helpful.
