i think its pretty obvious that what ever specific technique you use to create your drums and make them bang, there is some use of: eq,compression,layering,sampling,bit crushing,mangling
im interested in knowing about the tools you actually use to get those things done; and possiblely learning about other options i may have for my disposal. what are the tools you like to use when creating/designing your drums?
when i say tools, i mean specific names of compressors, eqs, plugins, outboard gear and the charicteristics / features of those tools that you like - example: "i like to use xxx vst for bit crushing because of xxx reason"
lets drop some knowledge!
