Mpc 1000 w/M Audio Projectmix io

Anybody hook the mpc 1000 into the Projectmix io yet? How is it? Did you use it with protools?

word. What software do you use to record? Pro Tools 8? HOw would you rate the projectmix on a scale from 1 to 20?

Projectmix. Works with various DAW's and been out a while, is there anything new to say about it?

Was just wondering how user friendly the two work together

i use a 2500 midi'd up to the PMix and yea i use PT MP 8.

I think he is asking does the 6 outs work well with tracking beast out to Pro Tools using a Project Mix I/O

I'm interested to find this out also because, i might get a Command 8 for my PT Le when i get Le, soon. and get the 8 outs for my 2000XL and track from the MPC that way.

at least with the 2500 it works well for me
i connect a snake from the mp to the pmix and send 8 pads through the wire and get recorded at once in pt
makes tracking a lot quicker

So should I used Monster StudioLink Balanced Interconnect cabls to track from the mpc into the projectmix io?

The 1k doesn't have balanced outs, so don't spend the money unless you plan to also hook the balanced cables up to other gear.

Command 8 is a MIDI controller - It won't give you anymore I/O to Pro Tools

ok. So should i use 1/4' to 1/4' cables or 1/4' to trs?
