after all, i'm wondering is it really worth getting logic 4 such n expensive price cuz im looking 2 get a MIDI controller 2 hook up 2 garage band and my mpc, and also this MIDI controller has its own sound, so i'm wondering would it be better 2 get this or the logic?

Look, if you are pushing me for an choice, I would do the following :

You have enough to go on in the previous replies to convince you ... but remember, that with any DAW or sequencer you have a learning curve and some are more intuitive than others .... I have used all of those you list ( I use Cubase, Nuendo and Reason of choice ), but I have always said that I would like Apple to release Logic 10 cross-platfrom, as I refuse to go Mac only to get it. I used Logic up to 5 Platinum, and also use Pro 9 in a local studio and I absolutely love the plugs and virtuals that come with it - top quality stuff all around. The sampler in logic is also great, but does take a little getting used to ... but once done, it is a little gem. For the money, the features and the quality alone, it would be Logic all the way for me ...
