pad sensitivity on MPK25

HI GUYS

I recently grabbed a bargain and invested in an MPK25, I am more than happy with it as it is everything i expexted to be, one question though, and please excuse my iggnorrance as i'm new to the whole drum pad thing, but with the pad sensitivity set to the highest point does this mean the pads are more or less sensitive than the lowest point, on the MPK the highest value is 16, can anyone explain??????????

P.S. i do know this is an mpc forum just thought somebody might be able to help

If pads are more sensitive (higher settings) they will trigger notes with very little pressure applied.

If pads are less sensitive (lower settings) they will need to be hit harder to trigger notes.
