I am upgrading my mixer/ recorder, and I am looking into these two, the TASCAM SX1LE or the Roland VS2480CD. Any ideas as to which sounds better in terms of pres, ease of use, reputation, etc.
Both have 16 analog ins, and CDRW's, editing functions, but they range in price. the Roland is much more, and the TASCAM looks like the better deal.
What should I be looking for in a DAW/dedicated mixer unit like this?
