Which SoundCard?

Hi,
First of all, i apologize for my english which is not very good (i'm actually french).
I've been working for two years on MPC 1000 and MPC 2000 XL, i did a lot of things on it and it sounds better and better!
Now, i want to show my work to the world, to get it out of this strange grey box and to record emcees on my beats.
Usually, i used my M-Audio Fast Track Pro soundcard with Pro Tools LE to transfer beats from MPC to the computer. But i have only two "in" on this soundcard and i'd like the tracks of the sequence to be separated when i record (snares, hit hat, kick, sample, bass ...) to make some cuts, mix and add effects with Pro Tools.
I know i have to add "8 separated outs" on my MPC and i found someone to do it, but i want to ask you which SoundCard should i buy to have a really good sound?
I have something like 200-500 euros to spend and i want something that i will keep a long time with a great quality to make my beats sound pro!

Your selection may be limited because of your use of the LE version. I'd like to suggest the Delta 1010 because it provides midi I/O as well as a full 8 in/8 out config but it's catered to the use of the m-powered version of pt.

But then you've got the firewire and usb interfaces to choose from, so I know it must be somewhat confusing for you.

Depending on your needs and what you may lack now, I'd say narrow your choices down until you find the one that works best for your situation.

In your price range, try the Firewire based Digidesign 002 rack or desktop version.

They work with Pro Tools LE and other software programs and give you 8 analogue inputs plus 10 digital.

Not a bad choice, and well known and tested product.

Plenty of information and users out there.

For great sound quality I've found Native Instruments Audio 8 Dj Soundcard for traktor scratch pro to be supreme. It might not suit your needs, but for high fidelity listening I enjoy it.
