this isn't a very clear description of the problem
you say the tempo seems to be faster - can't you check if it really is?
which sequence seemingly changes tempo, the one in logic or the one in the mpc? or both?
is it actually changing tempo, or are you just hearing twice as many notes? if it's the latter, are you double-triggering every midi note? maybe the mpc is sending midi notes to logic and logic is sending them back to the mpc and every note plays twice.
sounds like you need to figure out what's actually happening (not "it sounds like 180") and then figure out why that might happen, then solve it. simple
Well don't get me wrong, but it's pretty easy to notice the difference between 90 bpm and 180
The tempo changes inside MPC, nothing changes in Logic.
My interface is firewire MOTU ultralite mk3.
If song mode is only sensible resolve for the issue then I must say it's not that good and not that bad either
