it works though sharing a song example with vocals recorded with it won't really help you unless they are still dry
you would have to try one out in your room to hear it

it pretty much takes the room's sound zing /reverb out of your recording so that you can then have a dry vocal and put your own reverb in after recording to give it the sound of whatever room you were going for

it really helps when recording inside of sware shaped apartment rooms home studio setting
