Outboard after MPC in signal chain?

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you guys are using any outboard gear after your MPC? Preamp/DI's and such. And if so, which?

Alesis 3630 Compressor or compressors in Logic, EQ from my Mackie desk, various studio rack FX and guitar FX pedals or some FX from Logic, 4 track tape machine, Doepfer Dark Energy + some other modules and Waldorf Micro Q...depends what I'm after to what I use

FMR audio Really Nice Compressor. I love this thing, great bang for your buck, stereo, analog, two modes (super nice and regular) and an option to sidechain. I mix with track velocity then track through the RNC to Acid Pro 7 to get my ideas in my computer quickly.

great thread, was curious about this myself. I just use some desk eq and my built in flimsy fx, hopin to get a 1073 replica pre at some point in the near future though, what about you as the op?
