Ohh it's pricey, but for an SP-1200 with that little time left it's really good pricing... I mean they go for easily 800 - 1000 bucks on eBay... So 500 ain't that much to ask for with 5 hours left and No Reserve, but I still say it's shady which is prolly why that cat ain't had the price go up much...

Caution, but figure that we all had to start somewhere... I mean if you went by that rule no one would ever have any feedback cause we would never trust people with 0 feedback... I would be cautious with it and only pay through PayPal... That way I can have at least some insurance with my purchase (up to 500 dollars I believe with PayPal)...

Exactly... I wish I had 5 Bills sittin around like that... Sh*t I'd have gear out the a$$ if I had 500 to just blow on another drum machine... But honestly I want one just for the drums... My drums would be sick with that sound... I've also been lookin into a Studio 440, but they are few and far between...

I don't know too much about it, but I've heard RZA and Prince Paul have sworn by it at different points in their career... 12 Bit sampling (Real lo-fi like the SP-1200)... Really short sampling time so you'd be dooin mostly drums on it... Much like the SP-12...

It's made by Sequential Circuits which is no longer around anymore... However, there is a website that does restore and sell their old products as well as parts for their products and they do repairs as well... The site is:

http://www.winecountrysequential.com/page8.html

Check that page... They got tons of their old products there.. You just gotta sk about prices... I recently inquired just to get an idea, but I imagine they're pricey because sh*t is real rare... I haven't gotten an e-mail back tellin me a price, but I'll list it when I do...
