quick question about midi cables

i bought a monster midi cable a few years back before i had my mp, not really knowing exactly what they do.. when i figured it all out i couldn't believe i paid $30 for a midi cable.. i felt really stupid..

monster are a ripoff, and I thought I got shacked by the shack when I paid $7.99

LOL...man, I've had that thing ever since korg was giving away the scsi card for it for free as a promo. I've maxed out the ram but never expanded that joint.

Neither have I ever used it as a sampler yet.

But it gets its use every now & then.

Damn dude, that sh!t makes you hate cops for doing that part of their jobs. Their jurisdiction must be preparing for the recession or something, or one of the cops was looking out for his boy on a bike.

I use to ride too back in the 80's, when the roads were much safer than they are now. Lost interest because of the ongoing spate of hwy deaths & crazy drivers.

Now I can roll on all fours and keep up with most of them joints and not worry about that.

I make sure not to buy budget cables.

When you spend hours banging away at your desk, audio card, synth, etc, etc, etc, trying to work out why certain sounds are intermittent or non-existant, then you find out that twisting one of your many cables a certain way makes it work, you realise budget cables aint the way to go, ever. Too much hassle for that few dollar less.
I suppose if you have a small setup it's easy to find the prob though.
