I have one! I copped it to complement my MP-7. It's not a bad board, a little lackluster in the sound dept other than the PADS and cheesy dance sounds but I like it. You caught a steal on that peice because I payed double what you did. Better than the $650 out the box price!

hey man do u know if its possible to save all the sounds loaded up'

for example:
i make a beat using the xk-6 using like 5 different sounds on midi channels 1-5
is there a way to save all those sounds on there on those channels so i can just pull the same settings up on the keyboard

i know you can save a sound(single) but i don't know if its possible to do for everything loaded up on there

My dude keep that xk-6! It was released it think in 2003 and nearly $1100 new at the time. i had bought the pk-6 and lackluster -yeah if you rock the pres -but if you learn how it works, it's POWERFUL. It was labeled the "poor man's Triton" and an Ex girl kept it and then sold when we split. Now I honestly and literaly go thru mood swings because it's kinda like the same feeling when you date a hot girl but never "hook up". To me, she's the one that got away *sob*

Killer deal you got though!!! :P

Not really a way to save (like an autoload). But, you can save the MSB and LSB banks in the MPC so when you load up a sequence the program change loads the correct sounds. All you have to do is change the bank number (little subscript on the right) to the correct number.

Protip: Easy way to find the MSB and LSB number... Press "Audition" when you find the preset you like!
