My MPD 24 needs an updated OS. I've already looked up how to do it using the included vyzex software and it's not seeming to work. when i turn it on, it says "no firmware" I've tried this method: http://www.maketunes.com/forums/how-to- ... x-software

and each time i hit "enter" on the screen it says, "erase ok?" and flashes for a bit but still says "No firmware" so i unplug the mpd, hold rew,stop, and record while plugging it in, hit ok to erase and then open the vyzex software and it tells me it doesn't detect any midi inputs for the mpd and opens up the midi input window and says "mpd 24 boot loader," i tried that 2nd links option of changing the midi output and when i try to do that, the program just freezes up and i have to close it out. any help with this issue would be great.
