Motif xs rack

Instead of buying a new synth im considering on buying a Motif Rack XS.
My idea is to connect it to my mpc or my midi keyboard, but will most likely connect it to my MPC.
My question is how would the connection be if i connect it to my MPC? MidiOut of the Motif to MPC MidiIN then a 1/4 jack from the digital output to one of my channels in my mixer?
I already have my Novation Remote SL 61 midi keyboard connected to the MPC and have been using reason as a sound module. Also is it worth buying the motif xs rack when i already have reason?

Midi out of your controller to midi in of your MPC. Midi out of your MPC to midi in of the XS. outputs from XS to mixer. Very worth buying the Motif.

yeah that setup was my plan. And you saying that it is worth it then im buying it cause it a good sale of it in norway.

That sounds really nice. how is it with the usb-keyboard? can it be plugged in into the front usb port of the mp (4k in my case) ?

I used and still use M-audio Delta 1010 with a breakout box.

okay, I seen the delta1010 work with a pci card and I have a laptop, so I will buy a M-audio profire 610, I hope it's a good choice
