Reason + MPC

What up family? I have a question about Reason + MPC hookup. I have a Alesis Q49 midi controller, Akai MPC 2xl, emu 0404 soundcard with midi in out and digital in out. I just need some info on how to hook it up to trigger reason sounds with my midi controller, I want reason as my sound module. I dont have an interface. I know this question has been asked 1000 times, but I didnt see info about a hookup using a soundcard, only with an interface. Thanks

A soundcard and interface are one and the same, they perform the same role.

As long as the soundcard has midi and audio inputs you're good to go.
