Dilemma:
I wanted to test out the S/PDIF In and Out on my MPC. Problem is, I can't get a signal from the MPC to the Fast Track Pro, but I can get a signal from the Fast Track Pro to the MPC. Is there something weird going on? Something I need to set, on the computer end, that I may not know about?
I checked this out with an M-Audio Profire 610 and it works perfectly. So I get back and decide to try it with the Fast Track Pro again...
Just plugging it in and playing the MPC, I get no sound. But if I launch Pro Tools and arm a track with the Input 3-4 (S/PDIF) selected, it works. I did some Googling and seen something saying that the Fast Track Pro does not support "loop back". Is loop back a feature that routes the incoming signal to the output automatically?
