any of ya'll messing with this software?

im looking at copping something with that will allow me to record vocals into as well as mess with some production.

im familiar with soudforge and acid for pc but need a mac based program similiar to those.

is cubase sl that program?

it seems like it will do the trick.. how user friendly is it? i know folks were telling me to go with logic but i've heard that program is really heavy and not very user friendly..

i never found cubase to be user friendly until SX. I think SL is the stripped down version of SX. I like cubase alot and thats what I record guitars, bass and vocals into.

If you are on a mac I would go with logic. It may have a steeper learning curvem but logic is now mac exclusive, which means when os X gets their stuff 2gether Logic will rock on the mac, and it already has great mac support.
