Mpc1000 and ElektronMachinedrum

Who uses these together? I am going to get a machinedrum to us along side the Mpc and was wondering which to set as midi master? The Mpc is being used to sequence synths and maybe sometimes the machinedrum. The tracks are quite complex and have smalll tempo changes in them and different verse/chorus/breaks in them.

autechre, live. and they are insane.

my vote is mpc master but i dont think it will really matter...could work both ways.
