Learn how to copy and paste. This way, you will only be recording 4/8 or 16 bars at a time instead of recoding a kick for 4 minutes. This saves a LOT of time. I used to track out this way, but my mixes suck, so I 2-track everything! haha!

I did the same thing a few years ago. Record 16 bars and then copy/paste.
However, it feels like the original groove/swing of the MPC gets lost in the process because of this.

So now I record 4 minute tracks . It is time consuming but look at it like this:

You´ve been working on the beat for hours or day´s. So after all this fine tuning why not be willing to put in an extra hour
of work to record the beat exactly like you programmed in the mpc.

It takes me about an hour of work to record all tracks, but its well worth it at the end.

That's because the copy and paste process without precise math is not as accurate as an actual recording. :)
