Yeah, wait and save some more money so then you'll be able to get something of good quality the first time around. Not waiting and rushing into buying gear will cost you in the long run. You'll most likely end up learning more and understanding gear better and wish you would've bought something better.
So while you're waiting and saving, learn more about the connections on your gear, what you actually need your new interface to do for you, also think about your possible expansion later on IF you decide to get deeper into gear 'cause it wouldn't hurt to get an interface that has a few more in/outs and slightly bigger specs than you actually need.
