Workflow...suggestions???

I have a MPC2000XL, Moog Slim Phatty, Access Virus TI, Yamaha Motif XF6, & Apple Logic Pro 9...any suggestions on how you would operate this set up? I want to get the best of each piece.

make beats! sample sounds into the mpc.. maybe control some of the synths with the mpc using a couple of midi cables... maybe also make other beats on the apple logic pro .. then go back and make cool sounds with the moog and virus.. have a coffee...

oh, and read the manuals for each piece of gear.. also maybe get a mixer and/or interface to record the hardware into the computer.

how many outs on the mpc?
how many inputs on the computer?

what style of music?
If you want to get the best out of each piece, unplug all but one bit of gear and work with it every day until you feel you know it. then do the same with the others

for setup, probably Yamaha midi'd into the mpc, then midi outs to moog and virus. Sync the mpc to logic. Actually I'm not sure whether its better to have the mpc or mac with master clock

How do you came up with a bull-blown studio that you wonder how to use? (that's more for my personal curiosity)

Are there among your pieces any that you can actually use/master? (that's to help you)
