I am using JJOS latest version (free edition)
What I am trying to do is simply be able to hit rec+start on the mpc, play a couple notes (a bassline) or whatever on my Nord Lead 2x's channel A, which is set to midi channel 1. Then I want to be able to just do that again over and over for channels B,C, and D (which are respectively set to midi channels 2,3, and 4) until I have all 4 channels on the Nord sending and receiving midi data separately.
HOW DO I DO THIS
Right now whenever I try it out - I record a pattern on part A (midi channel 1), and then I touch the button for B, and the sound I'm hearing goes to the patch which is on that channel. How do I have it not do this, or is it just something that's going to happen...
THe midi setup is this
[Nord lead 2x midi out] ----> [MPC midi in A]
[MPC midi out A] ----> [Nord lead 2x midi in]
