Descent 8x Audio Interface for Trackin S950 & other racks

Hey everyone

I have a problem with my setup right now, because actualy im in another country for one year
and dont have my Motu 24 I/O with me, just a m-audio fasttrack pro.
So now im realy struggeling with my 2 s950's to track them out.
Actually right now i need a new USB Audio Interface with MIDI or maybe a USB Audio Interface
and a midi interface.

I was guessin that maybe someone of you could suggest me a nice device.
i need atleast 8 Analog Audio ins and at least 1x Midi in/out.
but futher a new midi interface for my would be nice too, cauz my Emagic Amt 8
doesnt work any more with win7.

What is very important for me is that when i invest round about 500 euros in an audio interface that the converters should be good. so i allready spotted 2 models:

1. The Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL
2. The M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8

Maybe you can suggest me one which is better and...maybe you ll know another one that would be realy helpfull for me.
plus i know if i would buy the fast track ultra 8 i ve to buy me a midi interface. but nevermind, how i told yall i ll stilll need it when im back in my homelab.
btw i dont wanna spend more then 700 euros...less would be even better cauz im still on the hunt for an emax !

check out the echo audiofire 8, or 8 pre, depending. i use it to track s900. about 400USD. i like the the AD, but not such a fan of DA, still use a duet for that. It has MIDI in/out, SPDIF, and ADAT, so it's a lot of box for the money. works with mac/pc.

thanks for the suggestion but this is a firewire interface. i would need a usb interface. my notebook dont got firewire ;(
