Has anybody ever had any experience with this hard disk recorder. Ive heard some good stuff about it and I have been contemplating on buying it. Right now I am still using a Tascam 688 8-track tape recorder and I have been thinking about stepping into the digital realm. I use an MPC 2000XL studio plus right now along with vinyl. I just sample, i dont mess with keyboards or any of that. Would this be a good hard disk recorder for sample based music? It dropped in price from 999.99 to 849.99 plus I got a boy that works at Guitar Center who can throw a 10% discount on top of it. What do you all think about this peice of gear? Ive also thought about the Akai DPS, and the Roland VS.
