Using MPC5000 programs and sequences on MPC4000

Can the MPC4000 read or convert programs and sequences that have been created on the MPC5000. I have some projects that I've done on the 5000 that I need to be able to use on the 4000. Is there a way (easy and quick) for the 4000 to read 5000 formated programs and midi sequences?

There may be a way but I imagine it's not straight forward. Possibility is to use chicken translator. Could save the sequences as midi files. Programs can be put together pretty quickly using aksys (for the 4000), obviously the synth progs on the 5000 won't be translated.
