Yes, im sorry to have to do this but i still need help. i searched this form and either i can find half of what im looking for or i can't find it at all. Here is what i want to do and maybe im over looking something but either way of somebody can please help me it would be greatly appreciated.
I want to use the ASR-10 to sample and chop. I want to use the MPC2000XL as the main sequencer as well as for drums (a search on this forum has someone requesting to do this the other way)
I understand how to hook it up by midi (MPC out to ASR In, ASR out to MPC in)
now here is where i'm starting to get confused, I want to be able to play the ASR samples on the keys while sequencing on the MPC only problem is i am hearing the drums from the MPC on the ASR keys.
I have no idea how to stop this I set the ASR-10 Midi set to multi. is there something more im suppose to do in the ASR. i'm not 100 percent positive on at all of what im suppose to set on the MPC?
anybody who has answered to a thread similar or the same i'm sorry but if somebody who works with the same setup that could break it down step by step again it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
