Digitech iStomp

is anyone using one of these in a MPC studio context..

probably doesn't work out very economical to be paying 5-10 bucks per effect +the inital outlay of the unit.. but if someone could hack it and people started developing free third party apps, and a bit more experimental, it could be awesome.

but i am interested how it sounds in non-guitar setup..

after a bit more research im concluded these are just a gimmick cashing in on the "i" products.

that other thread thats current by Coz points out the Pod HD500, dont see why anyone would get an istomp when you could go for something like the HD500.

I've not even looked at any of the iPhone type stuff to be honest. Apple will be abandoning the 30 pin dock connector later this year anyway so anything early 2012 and previous will require an adaptor, and I can't be arsed with any of that shite.
