Had a SH-32 and A-Station

SH-32 was slated by the reviewers generally so heavily discounted.
I never got why people (reviewers) didn't dig it much as I thought it was great (Wicked pads, FX and unique sounding filter).... Until now lol

The marketing lulled people with the SH name into thinking it's meant to be some vintage/analogue sounding module..... Which it isn't!

All the waveforms are PCM samples too

A-Station was good for the time but I don't like the Novation tone much, it's very thin.. The OSC's are very very very thin and don't have the same movement as a good VA or analogue when you detune them but it's a good synth.
I was contemplating one again for certain sounds it's nice, wouldn't mind a SH-32 again too.

i have both the jx3p and jx8p and like them both.
then again, i can't say i've come across a synth i don't like. oh wait, there is some kawai module a mate gave me that sucks a dead dingo's dick.
the jx3p is easy to program without the pg. it's no super synth, but it does have an nice analogue sound. the lack of touch sensitive keyboard might be a draw back if it's your only synth.
i plan on buying the kiwitech programmer for use with the jx8p.
