Crumar Roady

Anyone ever heard of this board?



earlier this year i copped this Crumar Roady. Its a cool synth that is capable of some cool EP and Organ sounds. Nothing like a rhodes or whirly ep. Its an electronic piano as opposed to Electromechanical piano. But it is analog.

I run it thru my analog filterfactory filter and space echo delay to get some really dope warped dirty and cheesy EPs out of it. It's so much better thru a preamp. I recently tested it thru a BLA Auteur preamp so warm and thick.

After I copped it I found that it is one of the EPs included in the Native instruments Retro Machines expansion. I swear it is one of the most cheesy good sounds. Sometimes I hate it and sometimes I love it.

sampling the sounds into the MPC to flip em is loads of fun.

i copped for $350 but it will be interesting to see if it sells for that much with four non working keys. my joint is in perfect working order.
