Anyone Use DP?

I have just switched my DAW to Digital Performer 4.5 and I love it. But I was wondering if any of you guys use it - most talk here is about Pro Tools/Logic/Cubase. Especially interested in any US guys opinions, cos over here in Europe, DP is billed as being big in America and doesnt get much action over here.

I was just wondering if any one else had an opinion on this DAW. For me it is amazing and much more in line with the way I like to work - logical and with a good overview but always allowing easy access to tiny details. And with less messing around with Logic's environment page and I feel freer to compose and sequence on the 60.

I am also really impressed by the sound of it. For my ears it is a lot clearer and has more depth.

But there isn't much mention of it over here - It's always billed as a "worthy alternative" to Logbase. Is it some kinda well kept secret? It's the bomb together with my 828 - it's love again .

lilboogie: I havent tried it on my ibook yet, but on a Double P G4 1.25 it runs real well.
