Headphones and MIC HELP

I already know what kind I want. What I need to know is, how can I hook them up to my computer. I already have my soundcard so what else do I need so I can run them through my soundcard. I have the M-Audio Audiophile 2496. Any help will help. Thanks ya'll

you got XLR connections on your sound card? if so jack your mic in there, (though a pre-amp might be needed, phantom power etc)
if not then thats one thing sorted, the headphones is obvious.

ok just checked out ya sound card...you gonna need a mic pre amp like a "JoeMeek Mic compressor" of somesort.

I tell you what be excellent for a small setup is this...Behringer UB1204 Pro Eurorack 12 Input Mixer seen this used in nufff studios!

yo' thanks for that link fam. I was looking at mixers the other day. I don't have XLR connections on my soundcard. I'll be looking into getting a mixer soon. Thanks for the reply
