I borrowed a unit to play with during the weekend and I have to say I came across very impressed. I used to own PDX2000 a few years back before selling them due to limited space. Anyway this coupled with a MPC for me is a really great combination, I can import all my music library, mangle them to death with the filters, then sample in the MPC and its been great fun.

So yeah nothing special but its beeb my first taste and I have to say I'm hooked and tempted to pick up one in the future, unless a X6 comes first:).

Ypu acronym you ever make the purchase of the S2 have to say i bought one a couple weeks ago or so and cot damn i love that thing!

I got my whole libary hooked up it picked up all the id3 tags and the few it missed certain fields for i can edit with ease, the analyze feature works fast and effectively so i can group songs and playlists by tempo. Having only mixed with vinyl (which came to grinding haltwith the decline of vinyl in early 00s) im chuffed to have everything new and old at my fingertips and having been a huge 'e-digger' my samples are easy to record and manipulate. Even scratching sounds good once you get the hang of it

Been working on a symphony sounds set so will record it andupload to OT soon...anyone whos looking to update/upgrade their dj system should seriously consider this unit
