I almost fell off my chair when I saw this posted up on another forum.

once I calmed down a bit (and stopped thinking about what I could sell in my studio to fund it) I found the sound clips maybe didn't amaze me much, but its early days - this could still be a great project.

In a few months it'll be great to see more demos. I'd def consider flogging off most of my other mono's if this is 95% of the sound of a 2600.

damn to bad its collecting dust. I want this too, but Im not sure Ill have the time anytime soon. yea evidently a few of the parts are rare.

I text him after posting here and he's dug it out and starting tinkering with it again. It sounds like he needs some studio setup help so I might see if I can pop round there and get some recordings.

It's weird though, when I was last at his house (many years ago) I hadn't even heard of the 2600 and came away thinking it was a pretty crappy synth. :oops:

I'd be interested in knowing the exact revision he's got of it.
