ive asked in a few other places - but no solution - so here goes

is ther any way of getting tracks sequenced in fruity loops into the mpc

ive exported them as midi files, put them onto the mpc, but cant get the midi file to play the samples ive assigned to a program

how do i set up the programs and mpc so the midi files will play?

cheers

I wouldn't know how to do this, but why do you want to do this?

yeah I had fruity before I got my mpc, I made a few good tracks on fruity that I tried to remake on the mpc, I just transferred the .wav's over and tried to re-sequence it, I couldn't get the same feel tho for some reason........ anyway I don't know nuffin about MIDI files and stuff like that, can't help you.

ah

its ok - ive got it figured now

once the midi file is in the mpc, it seems that any notes played in middle c (so thats everything in fruity loops unless you change it on the piano roll) will trigger pad C05. this itself cause a small problem if you have lots of samples used in FL, as you have to make a separate program for each one - as theyre all at some point using C05...

but - it works - if you have the time
