do i need to take my mixer back (newbie question)

i just got a yamaha mg10/2 mixer & think i need help hooking all my stuff up so i dont get feedback when sampling. i did a couple searches but didnt find exactly what i need to know. here's my equipment list

mpc2kxl
dj mixer (has master, rec & send/rec)
computer (right now has basic soundblaster card but im about to get a proteus x)

im playing it through an old bookshelf stereo. yay.

i want to be able to play records on the dj setup & be able to sample those records without feedback. can i go dj mixer rec to regular mixer & dj mixer send to mpc input?

what about the proteus x? it comes with the emu 0404 soundcard (2 ins & 2 outs). am i going to have the same feedback problem?

i didnt do my homework on mixers before i bought one. now im thinking i need one with more buses. but what do i know? thanks in advance!!

oh, btw... i dont care about being able to sample thru the computer. i have a zip & will just import files that way

in the mpc in sampling mode, up in the top it says monitor. turn it off and feedback is gone.
