Hi everybody,
First of all I am quite a noob, so please accept my appologies, should this be a stupid question.
I have an MPC Ren and a buddy lent me his Bass Station II as I'm thinking about getting one myself. My problem is that no matter how I try to connect the Bass Station II to the Ren audio inputs, I will only get an audio signal on one channel. I know the Bass Station is a mono synth, but shouldn't the Ren be able to split the incoming signal just as when connecting a mic? Am I missing something?
A workaround that works is recording a bass line, for example, in sample mode and then convert the sample from stereo to mono in sample edit mode. But it is not very satisfying.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated because I really like the Bass Station II.
Thanks very much in advance for any help.
Peace
