Ok.......the equip......MPC2kxl, Triton, JV-1080, Ensoniq EPS.....
the setup....MPC midi out A to triton, B to JV 1080 thru and JV 1080 out to EPS......
Never have a problem getting 16(different) midi tracks on A(from the triton), I don't have a problem using 9-16 for the EPS.....BUT, I can't seem to get 8 different sounds from the JV on 2b-8b.........any solutions???
I go to the 17th midi which is 1b.....and i select the sound from the mpc(pgm: on the bottom right of the main screen).....that makes the sound i want....if i go to the next track and select 2b and go to pgm and change the number......nothing happens.....I guess I may need to change some settings....any help?
