I have a drum loop playing inside Reaper. I want the drum loop to play and loop as I lay down a synth line from my MicroKorg, which I want to record into my MPC 1000 (ie I only want the MicroKorg to be recorded into MPC, not what I have playing inside the PC)
I see that the Mackie Onyx 1220i has extra outputs besides the main outs (Alt Outs, CTRL Room Outs).
If I have, say the stereo Alt Outs, going into the MPC's inputs, would only the MicroKorg be recorded once I started playing along with the drum loop inside Reaper?
(NOTE * I don't have the Onyx 1220i, I'm trying to research what it can do before I buy it)
