Hello I'm new to this forum and hope I can find some good tips here 
Im controlling a S950 with my MPC2000xl, using also a microkorg and sp303 for some things, which I didnt hook up but want to, and got recently into playing around with Ableton and using a Novation Masterkeyboard with it. I still love the swing of the mpc and using it also mostly standalone (also with the s950) for hip hop, but when it comes to more experimental electronic music I think about following situation for example:
I'm doing drums, bassline on the mpc/s950 and doing some sequences of whatever in my daw and also on my microkorg and sp303. Now I want to have everything hooked up with, if its possible with the 2 Midi Ins and 2 Outs, the mpc as the sequencer, then recording everything into my daw (I'm using the group outs of an older yamaha mg166xc and a focusrite sapphire pro 40 for monitoring).
Is this possible and what do I need else to get it fixed? A midi interface or another external midi sequencer?
I'm really not sure how to set it up and the internet gave me not much answers :/
